Saigon, I love you!

Fast, entrepreneurial, forgiving, this city stole my heart (sorry Tokyo, our romance was short-lived). Aimlessly wondering, you may find yourself snaking down narrow alleys, honking mopeds growling past you as you hold your breath until they squeeze through. Sweet and spicy aromas permeate through the humid air. Smiling faces, unperturbed by past atrocities inflicted by the U S of A.

This city moves fast. It’s unrelenting. Crossing the street is a challenge that leaves you feeling with a sense of accomplishment. A small victory against the chaos outside. In short, Saigon is not for the faint hearted. If New York seems…hectic, erratic, perhaps a bit raw, then save the visa fees and seek out another destination.
